HOSPITALITY & DINING
Restaurant and hospitality interiors, with considered layouts, atmospheric lighting and tactile finishes. Explore the AKAI Restaurant design.
AKAI Dubai
Typology: Hospitality – Fine Dining Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge
AKAI reimagines contemporary Japanese dining through the cinematic atmosphere of Ginza and the intimacy of a private members’ club. A sculptural canopy of suspended walnut and acrylic rods filters crimson light across the dining room, connecting a lava stone sushi counter, red onyx cocktail bar and private whisky library. Oxblood leather, crimson velvet and hammered antique bronze create a rich, tactile setting shaped by deep shadows and carefully layered lighting.

BOTANICAL Dubai
Typology: Hospitality Architecture & Creative Direction
BOTANICAL reimagines the Victorian glasshouse as an immersive gin bar celebrating the craft of distillation. A soaring black iron and glass pavilion frames lush planting, while backlit emerald onyx, aged copper and forest green velvet create a rich, tactile interior. Gin bottle chandeliers cast a warm amber glow, connecting the architecture to the spirit of the concept.

CARRIAGE Dubai
Typology: Hospitality – Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge
CARRIAGE reimagines the romance of railway travel through private dining compartments and a quietly eccentric, cinematic lens. Rounded walnut joinery, fluted glass and polished brass frame velvet booths in dusty pink, teal, mustard and pale mint. Tasselled pendants illuminate each table, while carriage windows reveal passing countryside. A suspended, deconstructed station clock floats above the curved cocktail bar, set against checkerboard flooring. Period artwork, luggage racks and a ticket-office kitchen façade complete a richly detailed setting shaped by nostalgia, playful precision and intimate lighting.
